Applications for bands open up every year around May or June. Keep an eye on our Facebook page or check back round then to apply.
You got it! Every year we pick a local charity and donate all proceeds to that charity. To-date, Totfest has donated over $18,000 to local charities. Our goal is to support a smaller charity that may not have the same resources as other major nation-wide organizations.

It all started with Leif Winterrowd, the vocalist of Walking Corpse Syndrome. One fateful night, struck by an irresistible longing for a proper tater tot casserole, Leif took to social media to seek out a recipe that matched his craving. Unable to find his own cherished recipe, he reached out to the online world, hoping someone could provide him with a solution.
However, the story took an unexpected turn. Instead of just finding a recipe, Leif’s post ignited a flame of shared enthusiasm among like-minded individuals. In a burst of inspiration, he proposed the idea of combining the joy of a tater tot casserole cook-off with the power of a metal festival. Little did he know, his late-night craving would be the spark that gave birth to something extraordinary.
Within a few short hours, the Totfest community was formed. A venue was swiftly booked, a logo was crafted, and Totfest was officially born—a testament to the power of community and shared interests.
